Quality Manager

Department: Quality
Reports To: Vice President/General Manager
Location: Mount Vernon Plant


The Quality Manager is responsible for ensuring that all company products meet the standards of our Quality Management System in accordance with ISO 9001:2015. This includes understanding customer expectations and needs, monitoring and evaluating internal production processes, outlining quality standards and developing quality control processes.


  1. Assures compliance to ISO 9001:2015
  2. Understands customer expectations of and needs from our products
  3. Develops quality control processes
  4. Contributes to the successful launch of new products or equipment, accounting for customer specific requirements and the inclusion of quality specifications
  5. Manages and maintains all work instructions, inspection documents and calibration records
  6. Sets and monitors Quality objectives as well as maintain documentation for Biannual Management Reviews
  7. Initiates action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process, or any other aspect of our Quality Management System
  8. Maintains continuous improvement efforts by managing or conducting analysis on product defects or recommendations for improvement. Verifies the implementation and documentation of continuous improvement solutions or corrective actions
  9. Identifies and improves production efficiency opportunities and identifies wasted resources within our processes
  10. Lead and/or aid in internal and 3rd party audits
  11. Works as a liaison with our customers’ auditors and ensures the execution of corrective actions and compliance with customers’ specifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must posses a working knowledge of quality management systems and possess and of metal forming and resistance welding


Backelor's degree in quality management, mechanical engineering or related field. Experience with ISO 9001 quality management systems
