This team, though largely unseen by our customers, know the unique details of customer requirements and preferences that allow us to not only meet, but exceed, our customer’s expectations. These unsung heroes from our Production, Maintenance, Shipping and Receiving functions work in concert to provide our customers with the quality they expect and the timely delivery they desire.

Management Team
Our management team has a passion for manufacturing and bring an extensive depth of knowledge and experience in their respective areas of expertise. Our combined abilities allows us to offer our customers the reliability and expertise of an established corporation, with the unparalleled customer service of a family-oriented business.
Bill Hanna

Bill is the Vice-President and General Manager at Ver-Mac. Bill joined the team at Ver-Mac in 1998 and prior to his VP role, has led the sales effort of our Air Filter component product line, procured all of Ver-Mac’s raw materials and has overseen our shipping and receiving function during his tenure. Bill received his undergraduate degree from Ashland University and achieved his Masters of Science in Management from the Mount Vernon Nazarene University. Outside of Ver-Mac, Bill spends his time playing, coaching or watching sports with his wife, Heidi, and his children, Mack and Macyn.
Jeff McElroy

Jeff is currently the Air Filter Sales Manager at Ver-Mac, joining the company as Project Manager in the summer of 2013 after graduating from Indiana Wesleyan University. Jeff served as Quality Manager for 7 years and then assumed the role of Air Filter Sales Manager in 2021. As a third-generation family member of the owners of Ver-Mac, Jeff grew up watching the company develop and had the opportunity to spend his summers as a kid operating equipment on the production floor. Outside of Ver-Mac, Jeff’s hobbies include motorcycles, video games, movies, and true crime stories.
Mike Cullers

Mike is the Sign Wire Sales Manager at Ver-Mac Industries. He joined Ver- Mac in 1998 after graduating from Wittenberg University in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He has over 30 years of experience in industrial sales, account management, and product development. In addition to his sales responsibilities, Mike has also been Ver-Mac’s Production Manager and has overseen the calibration of all technical measuring equipment. Outside the office, Mike likes to spend time with his wife, Kim, hiking, fishing, seeing live music and playing with his 3 grandchildren.
David Bickers

Dave is the Plant Manager for Ver-Mac Industries. Dave joined the management team in May of 2015 after working for 20 years in the automotive supplier industry. Becoming a member of a small, dynamic, family-owned company allows Dave to put on many hats, including overseeing a skilled production workforce, assist in capital budgeting for equipment upgrades, and purchases and advise on major projects including ISO certification and ERP implementation. Dave received his MBA from Keller Graduate School of Management. Dave has two grown children and enjoys the benefits of maintenance-free living, allowing him more time to keep up on digital media.
Darrin Nihizer

Darrin has worked in the field of Manufacturing Quality for over 30 years. Most of Darrin’s past experience has been in the automotive industry serving as a Quality Auditor, Quality Engineer, Quality Process Auditor, Quality Supervisor, Layout Technician and for the last 13 years as a Quality Manager. At Ver-Mac, he has served as our Quality Manager since 2021 and has helped maintain and improve our quality standards and processes for all product lines. He also serves as our Safety and Compliance Manager overseeing our company’s implementation and adherence of health and safety standards. Darrin has 3 children, 3 grandchildren and likes to spend his time away from work golfing, fishing, camping and listening to music.
Diana Grassbaugh

Diana joined the Ver-Mac team as a Customer Service Representative in 2007. Diana is an advocate for all of Ver-Mac customers, from placing orders to following up after shipments are made and yes, she also takes on the “complaint department” for Ver-Mac. Diana has worked in the manufacturing field for over 30 years in various positions. Outside of Ver-Mac, Diana enjoys the outdoors, but most importantly spending time with her family.
Becky Cook

Becky is an Executive Assistant at Ver-Mac Industries. Originally interning with Ver-Mac in 2005, she returned in 2017 after gaining twelve years of experience in the manufacturing industry. With a focus on customer service, AR, and AP, she also procures Ver-Mac’s raw materials. Becky hopes to be a great support for both customers and vendors, building strong and lasting relationships. Becky enjoys gardening outdoors, motorcycles, street fairs, movies, and anything that involves spending quality time with her friends, family and their two dogs.
Stacy Smith

Stacy came to Ver-Mac Industries as a Human Resources Intern in 2016. Stacy became part of Ver-Mac’s leadership team as the Human Resources Manager in 2017, after graduating from COTC. As the Human Resources Manager, Stacy plays an integral part in recruitment, training, benefits administration, and ensuring Ver-Mac’s associates have the resources they need to perform at their best. Outside of Ver-Mac, Stacy enjoys reading, movies and spending time with her two children.
Katie Gallwitz

Katie joined the Ver-Mac team as a Customer Service Representative in 2026. She’s passionate about building strong client relationships and providing friendly, positive customer experiences. She takes pride in creating positive interactions through communication, patience, and problem-solving. Katie has worked in customer service for five years in accounting. Outside of work, Katie enjoys gardening, hiking, fishing, and spending time with her husband, Caleb.
